'06 Mercury Montego

The 2006 Mercury Montego features a waterfall grille on the front fascia, high intensity headlights, rectangular fog lamps, and LED headlights. The wheel base is almost one hundred and thirteen inches, the car is over two hundred inches in length, and it is almost sixty two inches tall.

On the 2006 Mercury Montego Premier models, there are alloy wheels which hold eighteen inch tires; Luxury models feature seventeen inch tires. Furthermore the 2006 Montego comes complete with totally independent suspension; the all-wheel drive models also feature self leveling shocks in the rear.

As for the engine, there is a Duratec 3.0 liter V6 engine, with two hundred and three horsepower and two hundred and seven pounds per feet of torque. All disc anti lock brakes come standard, and there is the option for seat mounted and side impact air bags, rollover side curtain air bags (with Safety Canopy), and a reverse sensing system.

'05 Mercury Montego

Drivers of the 2005 Mercury Montego practically sing praises to its many interior features. To begin with, the 2005 Montego has plenty of room for five passengers.

As far as style goes, the interior is two tone, and it comes complete with upright seating positions, worth mentioning because it is not a sport utility vehicle. The seats in the front row are mounted on a cross car beam, which is designed to make the car safer.

The seats in the back are elevated as well, making for a good view without the worry of interfering with the driver’s ability to see. The second row seats of the 2005 Mercury Montego feature the ability for a sixty/forty split and the passenger seat in the front can fold flat, all of which makes for a wealth of storage space.

The steering wheel is wrapped in leather, there is an analog clock in the dash; the seats are upholstered in luxurious leather with some options, while an overhead console comes standard. Standard are a power adjustable driver’s seat and a full tilt steering wheel.

2006 Mercury Montego

The 2006 Mercury Montego added a few new features. It included a DVD system and leather-wrapped steering wheel. It also retained the leather seats and wood trim available in the previous model year.

2005 Mercury Montego

The Premier edition came equipped with luxurious leather seats and beautiful wood trim. Also, there was an upgraded audio system in the Premier. These features could all be found in the Luxury version, but only as options.
